I was brought on to the First Course team to fill a gap in the newly formed marketing group. I developed a logo and initial identity for our own operation's launch, paired with a giveaway to attract new leads.


I wanted to create a neat, familiar, and inviting mark to communicate our engagement and knowledge of the sport. I looked into respected brands in the golf world for styling cues and attempted to strike a balance between something that felt at home in the space but still stood out among our peers.


One of our giveaway Partners, Overlake Golf Club, were also in need of branding services. I leaned on my team’s passion for golf to find other clubs and courses whose branding and experience spoke to them. After playing at and exploring the course, we decided on a simple, premium look that incorporated an O and V, a golf ball and tee suggestion, and the imposing nature of the course's surrounding plains and mountains.



We worked to create their logo and build a suitable landing page for new members. Continued work will ensure a solid creative foundation for all of the clubs future endeavors, from tournaments to facility construction and beyond.
